Cardiac Progressive Care Unit (CPCU)


The new 8-bed Cardiac Progressive Care Unit (CPCU), located on the fifth floor, is a specialized area of the hospital. Patients are monitored at the bedside which is transmitted to a central bank of monitors watched 24 hours a day by trained technicians. Patients who do not require the intensive care of the ICU but require a higher level of care than on the medical-surgical areas are cared for in the CPCU.
